Some little freebies
Games
Yes, I do actually still make games. I will share them here, but not the source files for them, for numerous reasons.
Exploding Fruity Fun (Oh the fun we shall have!)
About
This was merely the tutorial project for a program called Game Maker (not RPG Maker or Byond – just Game Maker, designed for more arcade-style games.)
Click on the fruits to earn points. No plots in sight, just…just fruit clicking. I even had trouble thinking of a name so I just pulled some nonsense out of thin air. Seriously. If for some reason you DO want some help on the game, press F1 at any time.
Download the game here.
3D Creations
You will need Blender to open these files; you’ll have to google the site, but I think it’s blender.org
Cave

About
This was an experiment with one of the many tools that then proceeded to wander off course. There are 2 light sources – the ominous red glow and a rather faint torch light (you may note the white-ish blur across the ground; that would be our torch.) There isn’t actually any more to the tunnel after that short bend, but it sure looks like something to be avoided, huh?
Download the .blend file by clicking here
BYOND
You’ll need the BYOND suite to open these; downloadable (free) from byond.com. These are primarily (going to be) programmer resources, so I’d hope you already have this!
Alternate Get/Drop Inventory System
About
In most games, get and drop is one of the most basic commands, and is often ignored after initial implementation. What I have here for you is a wonderfully simple way to change that. This alternative takes into account how much an object weighs, and how much space it takes.
It is very heavily commented, so even a first time programmer can look at it and understand completely.
Download the project, including simple demo, by clicking here.
Gimp
You will, of course, need Gimp to open these, or any software that can handle the .xcf extension. For more, see my topic at Charas Project, which includes links to the tutorials to make these images and additional versions of most of them.

XCF File

XCF File – Be warned that this is in the original size, which is freaking huge. Do not panic.
